After 1 December 2010, the Manufacturer’s Declaration and associated Technical File must be updated to EN 60950-1:2006 (ed.2) including A11.

The standard for Information technology equipment, EN 60950-1:2006, was amended with A11 in December 2008, DOP (Date of Publication) 1 December 2009. A11 is a European amendment only.

The EN 60950-1/A11 specifies DOW (Date of Withdrawal) 1 December 2010.
This means all certificates issued after that day must include EN 60950-1:2006 (ed.2) + A11.

DOC (Date of Cessation) is also 1 December 2010.
This means it will no longer be permitted to market products manufactured and declared in accordance with the outdated standards;
- EN 60950-1:2001 (ed.1)
- EN 60950-1:2006 (ed.2) without A11
